How to use
To prevent them from taking on water, swim diapers aren’t designed to absorb liquid. The Swimsuit isn’t intended to be worn dry for long periods of time or hold large quantities of liquid. A swim diaper’s primary function is to contain solid messes.
With that in mind, put the Swimsuit on right before entering the water, and change into The Diaper or The Pant when finished with water activities to avoid leaks.
To put on, pull on like underwear and pull down or tear at the side seams to remove. Based on your local pool regulations, additional swimwear may be required to be worn over The Swimsuit.

Swimsuit FAQ's
How many swim diapers come in a pack?
The quantity of swim diapers in each box differs based on the size. You may notice that as the swim diapers become larger in size, the number of swim diapers per pack decreases as the amount of materials utilized in each diaper increases.
Small: 20 swim diapers
Medium: 18 swim diapers
Large: 17 swim diapers
What are the materials in The Swimsuit?
The compact, plant-based core is made of cellulose, polypropylene and polyethylene. The nonwoven topsheet, backsheet, waistband and leg cuffs are made from polypropylene/polyethylene. There is a polyethylene film, elastomer, adhesives, and certified skin-safe inks. Our swim diapers are hypoallergenic and dermatologist-tested, but we recommend consulting with your doctor if you’re concerned about a certain allergen, fabric, or medical condition. Please note that we cannot say that our products are vegan because that classification is reserved for food products. In any case, our diapers do not contain any materials from animal sources. For more information, you can read our full Swimsuit Safety Report here.
Where do you manufacture The Swimsuit?
The Swimsuit is made by the same manufacturer as our classic, most-loved Diaper. The Swimsuit is made in Canada, with materials made in Canada, Mexico, and the US. We selected our manufacturing partner because of their superior technology, high quality control, and best-in-class facilities. They are also certified with ISO standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Is The Swimsuit recyclable or compostable?
The Swimsuit is not presently recyclable and should be disposed of in a trash or diaper bin. The process to recycle diaper materials is difficult due to two current barriers: collecting and sorting the used diapers from the waste stream, and sanitizing the diapers. The core of The Swimsuit is made of plant-based cellulose that should decompose under natural conditions.
Our focus is on sustainable material research and development, with the ultimate goal of creating fully biodegradable or recyclable disposable diapers. For more information, visit our Coterie Impact page here.
